To the District 7430 Youth Exchange Community;

The Rotary Youth Exchange Program in District 7430 has impacted close to 2000 young men and women over the past 40 years. Students come from and are hosted in some 60 high schools in our district. All of this is accomplished by the support and hard work of the individual clubs who sponsor and host the exchange students.

Like everything else today the expense of going on exchange has gone up considerably. This has impacted some of the individual student’s ability to go out. To help defray some of these costs, the District has started a scholarship fund. Thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Spring-Ford and a few individuals, the District has started a Scholarship account under the 7430 Foundation.

Scholarship money will be made available to those students that can demonstrate a financial need. Funds can be used to pay for travel expenses, insurance cost and other necessary expenses.

Were do you come in? We would like to help as many individuals as possible and that takes contributions. Please help future exchange students have the experience of a life time. Your tax deductable contribution can be sent to 7430 FOUNDATION, YOUTH EXCHANGE SCHOLARSHIP , 711 Bethlehem Pike, Erdenheim PA 19038-8114.
